This guide walks through the core features of the mobile app. The app includes everything from custom QBank practice sets to guided Study Plans with live sessions, learning modules, and downloadable resources. In-app features available will depend on the product purchased.

Accessing the App on iOS
On your Apple iOS device, head to the app store and search for the appropriate app:

Once you have downloaded the app, use your existing credentials to login, then create and review practice sets with ease from anywhere!
QBank: Creating a Practice Set
To create a practice set:
Go to the QBank tab and select Create Practice Set.
Name your practice set.
Choose which questions to pull from:
Unused
Flagged
Incorrect (from past practice sets)
Or any combination of the above
Select which QBank(s) to pull from, if you have access to more than one.
Narrow by category — you can search (e.g., "pulmonology"), deselect all, then select only the categories you want.
Narrow by advanced filters (optional) — filter by domain.
Choose your mode:
Tutor Mode — see the correct answer and explanation immediately after each question.
Exam Mode — timed, with results shown at the end.
Set your number of questions
Select the Practice Set to begin.
If recommendations are enabled on your account, recommended questions will be marked with purple stars.
Taking a Practice Set
While answering questions, you have several tools available:
Lab Values — accessible from within the question screen; scroll through all categories.
Font Size — adjust between small, large, and extra large.
Flag — flag a question to revisit later.
Strikethrough — eliminate an answer choice.
Highlight / Underline / Markup — press and hold to select text, then choose a markup style. Markups sync between mobile and web.
Copy Text — copy question or answer text.
Question Navigator — jump between questions in the set from the side panel.
Pause / Stop — pause returns you to the home screen; stop completes the practice set.
Checking your answer:
Incorrect selections are highlighted.
A full answer explanation is provided, along with why the other answer choices are incorrect.
Explanations may include images — tap to enlarge, or pinch-to-zoom on mobile.
Tap to reveal the correct answer and references, which link out to source material.
Reviewing Results
Once a practice set is complete, you'll see your score and can:
Review — go question-by-question through the set.
Score Report — see a performance breakdown, including correct/incorrect by category and time spent per question.
From the QBank dashboard, each saved practice set can be:
Retaken
Renamed
Deleted
Studying Offline
You can download any practice set to complete it without an internet connection. If you start a set and go offline partway through, you can download it, continue working, and your progress will sync back to the web once you're reconnected.
Exams Tab
The Exams tab shows any exams assigned to you.
Exams typically have a limited number of attempts (e.g., one attempt).
Timing settings may vary by exam.
Study Plan
The Study Plan tab organizes your assigned work by day/week and includes:
Live Sessions — join scheduled live sessions directly from the Study Plan.
Joining a live Zoom session: Tapping a live session either opens the Zoom app directly (if installed) or prompts you to download it
QBank practice — practice sets tied to your plan.
Assessments — assigned assessments (test data shown during demo).
Learning Modules — linked modules to complete as part of your plan.
Scroll up or down to load earlier or later weeks in your plan.
Learning Modules
Each learning module contains videos and quizzes:
Open the left panel to see the module's videos and quiz questions.
Videos — tap to preview or open in a new screen.
Quizzes — answer a question, submit, and see the explanation before moving to the next question.
After finishing, you can:
Review your answers
Retake the quiz
Move to Next
Your progress (video time and quiz completion) is tracked and shown when you return to the module.
Resources Tab
The Resources tab is where all learning modules live, along with:
Progress indicators showing which modules are unstarted vs. in progress.
PDFs — reference sheets and pre-work materials (e.g., Crash Course Diagnosis sheets), available to open directly in the app.
Settings
Settings has moved and now includes:
Dark Mode — toggle for the entire app.
Feedback — submit feedback directly from the app.
Delete Account and Log Out options.
Note: An Assessments tab will also appear if you're part of a live study group or have assessments assigned — this isn't visible to all users by default.
App Troubleshooting
If you're experiencing technical issues with the mobile app, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Update the app to the latest available version from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Delete the app from your device.
Clear your mobile browser's cache (Safari on iPhone or your default browser on Android).
Reinstall the app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
Sign in again and check whether the issue has been resolved.
