Subscribing to your Blueprint Study Plan lets you view all of your assignments directly in your favorite calendar app. Once subscribed, any changes you make to your Study Plan will automatically sync to your calendar.
Note: Your calendar app is read-only. You won't be able to make changes to your Study Plan through Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook — any edits made there will be overwritten the next time your plan syncs. Always use your Blueprint Study Plan to move or reschedule assignments.
Getting Your Calendar URL
No matter which calendar app you use, start here:
Open your MCAT or LSAT Study Plan and click Add to Calendar (located next to the Reset/Rebalance Plan button).
SMNP students: Find the Add to Calendar button under Settings in your user menu.
In the Calendar Subscription popup, copy the URL provided.
Follow the steps below for your calendar app of choice.
Heads up: It may take up to several minutes for your assignments to fully populate after subscribing. If your calendar doesn't update right away, give it a few minutes and refresh.
Google Calendar
Follow the steps above to copy your calendar URL.
In Google Calendar, click the + icon next to Other calendars in the left sidebar.
Select From URL from the menu that appears.
Paste your URL in the URL of calendar field and click Add Calendar.
Your Study Plan subscription will now appear under Other calendars in the left sidebar. Make sure the checkmark is enabled so assignments show up on your calendar.
To rename your subscription: The default name will be the URL, so you'll want to rename it. Hover over the subscription in the sidebar, click the three-dot menu, then select Settings. Edit the name in the first field and press Enter. Refresh the page to see the updated name.
To unsubscribe: Hover over the subscription in the left sidebar, click the X that appears, and confirm when prompted.
Apple Calendar
Follow the steps above to copy your calendar URL.
In Apple Calendar, go to File → New Calendar Subscription.
Paste your URL in the Calendar URL field and click Subscribe.
Customize your settings — set your preferred auto-refresh frequency and choose a color to make it easy to identify (Blueprint blue works great).
Your Study Plan subscription will appear in the left sidebar under Other. Make sure the checkmark is enabled so your assignments are visible.
To unsubscribe: Right-click the subscription in the left sidebar and select Unsubscribe.
Outlook
Follow the steps above to copy your calendar URL.
In the Outlook Calendar left sidebar, click Add Calendar.
Select Subscribe from Web.
Paste your URL, enter a name for the calendar, and choose a color to make it easy to identify.
Click Import. Your Study Plan will appear under My Calendars or Other Calendars in the left sidebar. Make sure the checkmark is enabled so your assignments are visible.
To unsubscribe: Right-click the subscription in the left sidebar and select Remove or Delete, then confirm when prompted.
Troubleshooting
My calendar isn't showing any assignments.
Make sure the checkmark next to your Study Plan subscription is enabled in your calendar's sidebar. If it's checked and still not showing, try removing the subscription and re-adding it using the steps above.
My calendar isn't updating after I made changes to my Study Plan.
Calendar apps sync on their own schedule. In Apple Calendar, you can set the auto-refresh frequency in the subscription settings. In Google Calendar, syncing typically occurs every few hours. If updates are taking a long time, try removing and re-adding the subscription.
I don't see the Add to Calendar button.
Make sure you're viewing your Study Plan (not your dashboard). MCAT and LSAT students will find the button next to the Reset/Rebalance Plan button. SMNP students will find it under Settings in the user menu.
My assignments disappeared.
This can happen if the calendar URL has changed. Return to your Study Plan, generate a new URL via Add to Calendar, and re-subscribe using the steps above.
