We recommend that students complete 2,500 LSAT questions between Homework and Practice Exams during their study!

Here are some habits that we recommend to make the biggest score increase you can, depending on how much time you have to dedicate to studying the LSAT outside of class.

If you can dedicate 12 hours or more to study in between each lesson:

  • Follow the Homework Guide after each live lesson. The Guide specifies the best order and volume of each set of drills and homework problems, to help you make the biggest score increase possible on the LSAT. The Guide will also specify how to preview concepts taught in future lessons, to make each live lesson as productive as possible.
  • Review and get extra practice! If a homework or practice set didn't go as well as you hoped, review that concept by watching the relevant Online Anytime lesson videos. Then get more practice in the Practice section of myBlueprint. Choose the appropriate Logical Reasoning question type, Reading Comprehension passage type, or Logic Game type, and select Easy and Mild difficulty to hone your approach to these items.
  • Attend Review Sessions regularly. These are held Monday-Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. At Review Sessions, some of our favorite instructors will cover material that supplements what you learn in our live lessons. They're great for attaining a mastery of important concepts on the LSAT. View the upcoming sessions and register to attend on the front page of your myBlueprint account.

If you can dedicate between 8 and 12 hours to study in between each lesson:

  • Follow the Homework Guide after each live lesson, but skip each item that says "Practice" or "Preview." The Guide specifies the best order and volume of each set of drills and homework problems, to help you make the biggest score increase possible on the LSAT. Skipping items that say "Practice" and "Preview," however, will allow you to complete each lesson's recommended in less time.

If you can dedicate between 4 and 8 hours to study in between each lesson:

  • Complete the Homework for each lesson after each live lesson. Start with the drills (you only need to do 1 or 2 sets of each drill), and then complete the homework section. Your instructor will let you know how common each type of question is; to apportion your study time, select "Large" or "Medium" practice sets for the more common questions, and "Small" practice sets for the lesson common questions.

If you can dedicate 4 hours or less to study in between each lesson:

  • Ask your instructor or email Study Buddy (lsatquestions@blueprintprep.com) to ask for an abbreviated guide to the homework. Your instructor will let you know which sections of your homework to focus on, based on the amount of time you are able to spend.
