Resetting Study Plan and Managing Course Access

You can reset your LSAT or MCAT study plan at any time to reorder assignments, adjust to a new exam date, or switch to a different live course. Resetting rearranges your schedule — it does not erase your progress on Qbank items, exams, or modules.

What changes and what is preserved

What changes

What is preserved

Assignment order and calendar layout

All Qbank item progress

Exam date and course schedule

Exam scores and analytics

Completed assignments (removed from calendar)

Module completion progress

Access to past completed assignments (via Resources page)

Completed assignments will no longer appear on your calendar after a reset, since they were completed in the past. You can always find them on your Resources page.

Any modules you had marked as incomplete before resetting will reappear in the new plan, including their videos and tasks.

Note: Once your study plan is reset, you cannot revert to the previous version.

How to reset your study plan

  1. From your Study Plan, click Reset Plan.

  2. Review the confirmation notice and confirm the reset.

  3. Select a new course schedule (if applicable) and exam date.

  4. Your plan will be regenerated with incomplete assignments redistributed across the new schedule.

If you prefer not to start over, you can adjust your existing plan by dragging and dropping assignments to new dates, or by editing dates directly.

After you reset

  1. Review your plan and make any additional manual adjustments. For example, you may want to prioritize certain topics or adjust the order of tasks.

  2. If your study plan is ending prior to your exam date and you require additional time, check out the available extension options within your account and select the one that best fits your timeline. Once an extension is purchased, the time will be immediately added to your study plan. You may want to reset the study plan again to ensure proper distribution of assignments for a longer study period.

Troubleshooting

Assignments not marked as complete
Navigate to the assignment in your study plan, select the completion date, and update the status to Complete.

Calendar not reflecting correct dates
Try setting the start date to today and confirm your exam date is set correctly.

Missed a live session
A recording will be available within 3 business days. You can also reschedule to attend live with a different instructor via the "Live" tab.

LSAT-specific resets

Practice Exams: LSAT Practice Exam 1 cannot be reset. All other practice exams can be reset once via the reset button on your Exams page.

Qbank Practice Sets: Non-adaptive practice sets can be reset once via the reset button on your Qbank page. Resetting removes all previous analytics and score data for that set.

Resetting work progress

Progress on completed assignments cannot be reset due to account sharing regulations. If you want a completed assignment to reappear in your plan after a reset, manually mark it as incomplete before resetting — your underlying progress will still be retained.
